World War II was a destructive conflict that cost millions of lives. But while the soldiers in the fields were fighting the Nazi menace, behind the scenes, men and women of the intelligence services were risking their lives. Bruce Jarvis’ thriller, “Code Name Arc Angel” describes the experiences of one such agent, Carlton Fuller, who is recruited by William Donovan, director of the fledgling Office of Strategic Services.  Fuller, who has attracted the intelligence community because of his German background is trained and then embedded as a highly placed German Colonel who regularly interacts with Hitler and other high-ranking Nazis. Fuller risks everything to pass on German military secrets to the Allied forces. As the war continues, can he manage to continue with his mission and survive the many hazards and dangers that he must stoically face?

This book is perfect for anyone who enjoys learning about World War II and the birth of the modern-day intelligence community in the United States. Soldiers and other members of the military community have long been lauded for their heroism in World War II. This book reminds us of the courage of the many agents who put their lives on the line in order to help bring down Hitler’s regime.

“Code Name Arc Angel” will be displayed in the upcoming Word on the Street, the biggest literary event in Canada this year on September 22 in Toronto. Grab a copy of his book at Amazon and your favorite online book retailers.
