Grand Rapids, Ohio, USA – WEBWIRE

Above us, the baby ghost family sat on the barn rafters and giggled.

E. Dorinda Shelley released another endearing story of Kath and her barn animals in “Helium Heels.” Teaming up with illustrator Eleanor A. Hutton, Dr. Shelley once again fills her kaleidoscopic storybook with amusing twists.

The story begins with Kath’s encounter with the baby ghost family. They love being mischievous to entertain themselves, pulling pranks on the barn animals. They paint the donkeys’ hoofs with helium red paint that sends the donkeys floating into the air.  The funny antics of the baby ghosts plague their mother, Little Black Hen, to her wit’s end!

However, the fun doesn’t just end there. All the other barn animals paint their paws and claws with the red paint and go floating along with the donkeys! It seems the baby ghosts’ ideas weren’t that naughty after all.
