Who isn’t fascinated by fairies? Published author Jean Nelson Woomer taps into this fascination of the young ones. She aims to open their minds to the critical issue of diversity and equality through her book, “Flower Fairies of the World.”

This is a colorful book designed to capture the attention of the kids and the young at heart. This book inculcates into the minds of the young ones that beauty and value do not rely on color and race in a refreshing and very light manner. Jean artistically used fairies to represent different kinds of people for the story to be even more captivating. She showed that unity in diversity could be achieved by introducing fairies of different personalities who are able to come together in one bouquet.

This easy to read book has more to it. In addition, “it illustrates how God’s glory can be praised and appreciated, no matter what part of the world you are from,” Jean says.
