The Forces that Test Man’s Virtue

What will your choice be when you arrive at the crossroads of life?

Miami, FL – WEBWIRE

Every person must choose a path as he attempts to cope with the vagaries of living, and his choice will determine not only his own fate but will affect the fate of everyone around him. A virtuous person especially will suffer, for a momentary decision can lead to agony of the soul, facing as he must the consequences of that split-second, critical choice.

Charles E. Vela describes in vivid terms such a circumstance. His novel, entitled “His Will,” presents forces beyond a man’s control and how they act to shape his reality and force him to measure his own limitations and the strength of his virtues. Vela’s thrill-ride book takes readers into the political world and upheavals of a future United States, a fantastic world of corrupt politics and public justice gone awry. The main character, Waymond Hernandez, is faced with a desperate choice and flashes back to the events that brought him to this moment. Will he change his principles for the sake of conformity?

The reader is led through scenes of bloodshed and the loss and acquisition of power, scenes that force fascinating characters to distort conscience and battle their way to breaking points—watershed moments that force decision in the most desperate of times.

What will you, the reader who enjoys politics and a bit of fiction, do when you arrive at such a crossroad? Read Charles E. Vela’s premier literary offering and you just might discover an answer.
