Joseph Brisben Never Fails to Amaze His Readers as He Releases His Fourth Novel

Iowa City, IA – WEBWIRE

Author Joseph Brisben takes his protagonist from “Skip Day” and “Sweet Lorraine,” Joe Ralston, to a whole new level in his life. The latest installment in his series called “Lost in the Shoe” gives readers another important relationship that readers needs to cherish.

His first Ralston’ novel talks about having fun in high school. The second talks about romance during an advanced age. This third book showcases friendship. Joe met Al Lerner. They play golf to help Al lose weight so he can lose weight. Al had a heart attack and went into a coma. The drugs the doctor prescribed him affected his kidneys for which he needed a transplant. That’s the reason Al needed to lose weight. One tragedy after another plagued Al’s life. As a counseling psychologist, he studied child pornography to aid a client. Under the “Tipper Gore” law, the FBI said he couldn’t do that, and he was sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment. Joe sticks with Al through everything and even promises to look after his wife. How far Joe will endure with Al is for the readers to find out.

This book presents a side of reality that in spite of the mishaps one will encounter, there should be someone whom you can count on. Joseph Brisben reminds the readers that even if you feel that the universe seems to have conspired against you, there should be one soul whom you can lean on.

What the readers can expect from this book is that this is a portrait of two friends coping with the tragic fallout from crime, imprisonment, family disintegration, and death. Brisben’s imprimature is definitely present in this work, which is his engaging and detailed storytelling.
