The book was inspired from a real life story, and it is the author’s wish to provide children new educational tools that will promote honesty, sincerity, love, kindness, help for others, and a holistic understanding of life.

Police encounter-stories border on either the terrifying, or memorably gratifying. The book of Vladimir Loungou, “Master Woo and Policeman” belongs to the latter, a memorably gratifying experience that will serve as reminder for all of us.

There are many stories mined from personal experiences. This is one of the best, when the author found himself in an unexpected situation that quickly turned from an accidental misfortune into a sudden-hard-knock prayer for safety and compassion. In the end, the author was rewarded for keeping his calm and displaying his faith in the goodness of everything.

The author shares that experience truly is the best teacher. But it also made him ponder on how best to share the lessons learned from that experience. So, the book was born, with children as the focus. Every page comes alive with the illustrations, sure to draw varied emotions from the children’s faces as they read and absorb the story.

“Master Woo and Policeman” is emotionally powerful and it wants children to be tooled with honesty, sincerity, love, kindness, and helping others. It also teaches the power of thought and prayer, of the need to let children know that developing early this habit will give them a sense of peace and calm.

This book has been hailed as educationally-entertaining, and was even translated into the Chinese version. This was a work of art and passion from the author, who had expressed early on an interest on literature, music, arts and sciences. According to him, his books are intended to entertain and educate children, as well as adults, and to cultivate kindness and good feelings.

“Master Woo and Policeman” will be displayed in the upcoming Word on the Street, the biggest literary events in Canada this year on September 22 in Toronto. Grab a copy of his book at Amazon and your favorite online book retailers.
