Craig Whelden’s “Leadership” - Free Download Tomorrow (07/29/2019)

Pasadena, CA – WEBWIRE

Best Seller Publishing announces the release of Craig Whelden’s new book, “Leadership: The Art of Inspiring People to Be Their Best.” It will be available for free download in the Amazon Kindle Store on July 29th.
This book vividly brings to life 50 years of leadership and life lessons, told in a compelling and sometimes very personal way. A master storyteller, the author does this in 24 easily digestible chapters, starting with “character,” the basic building block for all great leaders. From there, he addresses the importance of trust, four different methods of mentoring, delivering under pressure, setting organizational expectations, breaking down cultural barriers, effective communications, leaving a legacy, risk management, and many more topics that have everyday application for all of us.

Widely acclaimed by dozens of corporate leaders and senior military leaders, he has the unique ability to connect to readers through storytelling and takeaways that anyone can then apply: in the corporate world, the non-profit community, or simply in your everyday life. Two bonus appendixes are included that are tools he personally used as a senior leader in the military: his “Philosophy of Command” -- time tested over 30 years -- and a self-reflection on himself as a leader titled “Whelden on Whelden.”

You will not be disappointed!

“Leadership” by Craig Whelden will be free and available for download on Amazon for 5 days (07/29/2019 – 08/02/2019) at:

Leadership” has a 5.0-star rating on Here’s what some people are saying:

“Adults often learn best from stories, and certainly this is the case with “Leadership: The Art Inspiring People to Do Their Best.” The author, Craig Whelden, is a retired US Army Major General, who has a wealth of experience in leading others. As the subtitle states there is an art to leadership. It emerges from caring about and for others and at the same time finding ways to create the mission and complete it. There is plenty of solid advice in this book as well as engrossing tales that will keep you turning the pages. This book is an excellent resource for those just starting their careers as well as those who need a mid-career tune-up. Inspiration comes from example and Whelden provides plenty of it.” – John Baldoni

“I worked directly with Craig. As a young Major, he was always there when I needed a steer as the SES for MARFORPAC. He was most definitely there when I didn’t know I needed him. I will always treasure the lessons he taught me and can only hope that from the plethora of field grade officers he has worked with, that I was value added in some fashion. “Pass it along,” I can speak from experience and am I direct benefactor of this book’s teachings.” – R.L.
