A Book of poetry, verse and stories by Leelia Carolyn Cornell will get an exhibit at the Miami Book Fair 2019

Out of her intimate relationship with God, Leelia Carolyn Cornell published a book of heartfelt poems and stories titled “In the Shadow of God’s Love” (Christian Faith Publishing; 2018). This book will encourage the reader. It can also be used as a devotional book or Bible study guide. Christian book lovers should check out the book’s exhibit at the Miami Book Fair 2019 Street Fair on November 22-24, 2019 at Miami Dade College (Wolfson Campus) in Downtown Miami.
 
Founded in 1984 as “Books by the Bay,” the Miami Book Fair aims to promote reading; encourage the writing craft; and spread the awareness of literacy and the literary arts in Miami’s multi-ethnic community. Aside from the weekend Street Fair, the book fair, which will run from Nov. 17 to 24, offers book signings, author talks, panel discussions, musical performances, and many other activities to the attendees.
 
Cornell’s book of poetry, verse and stories “In the Shadow of God’s Love” will be proudly exhibited by ReadersMagnet at the Miami Book Fair.
 
There are two parts to the book. The first section of the first part deals with living life walking with God amid human struggles and joys showing the unchangeable character of God and His promises to His people in all situations. Composed of rhyming poems; poems that do not rhyme but their thoughts connect instead; and poems where scriptures are woven together the first part is written in deep, insightful verse that causes one to think.
 
The second part of in the Shadow of God is more personal. The first section of the second part contain short stories about how God worked through the lives of the author and her family in many situations in life some are happy, some sad, even tragic, and some are funny.
 
There are two more sections in the second part. These are poems on nature, some poems paint word pictures of nature, others show how God reveals His character through His creations as well as teaches life lessons

About the Author

Although Leelia has lived in the vicinity of her birthplace, Marion, Indiana, she has traveled extensively. She has visited all fifty States, five Canadian provinces, the Yukon territory, and the four continents. Her travels include a mission trip in Asia. Leelia has a heart for getting the Word of God to people in their native languages as well as supporting believers in countries where they are persecuted.
 
She is a historian who wrote and performed musical historical programs. One was on Abraham Lincoln. She also reenacted in Lincoln’s boyhood home in southern Indiana. Leelia wrote the feature in every issue of Hoosier Heritage Magazine throughout its years of publication. She presently writes about an internationally award-winning youth circus in Peru, Indiana for White Tops, a professional circus magazine.
 
She and her husband, Tom, are volunteers with the Peru Amateur Circus, which is fifteen miles from their home and one of the best youth programs in the country. She and Tom live on four and a half acres full of wildlife and trees, which they share with their Pembroke Welsh Corgi Joel. They have three children, seven granddaughters, and one living grandson. Leelia also teaches a Bible study on the Hebraic understanding of Scripture.
