Award-winning children’s book by Rosella Calauti will be on exhibit at the Miami Book Fair 2019

To encourage young children and make them feel secure as they develop and make friends, Rosella Calauti published the picture book “Friends Here… There… Everywhere…” (AuthorHouse; 2011). This children’s book will be displayed at the Miami Book Fair 2019 Street Fair on November 22-24, 2019 at Miami Dade College (Wolfson Campus) in Downtown Miami.
 
The Miami Book Fair, founded in 1984 as “Books by the Bay,” aims to promote reading; encourage the writing craft, and; and spread the awareness of literacy and the literary arts in Miami’s multi-ethnic community. Aside from the weekend Street Fair, the book fair, which will run from Nov. 17-24, will include author talks, book signings, panel discussions, musical performances, and other activities.
 
Calauti’s children’s book “Friends Here… There… Everywhere…” will be exhibited by ReadersMagnet at the Miami Book Fair 2019. The book is geared towards children ages 2 to 5 to help them develop social and literary skills in a stage when they are exploring the world around them and learning to become independent.
 
Parents and teachers can make use of “Friends Here… There… Everywhere…” to teach children how to share and play cooperatively. Children will not only learn how to make friends but also learn opposite words and adverbs (here, there, and everywhere).
 
The full-color picture book won the Purple Dragonfly Book Award in 2016. It also receives positive reviews on Amazon and GoodReads.

About the Author
 
Rosella Calauti, author and a teacher in Newburgh, New York discovered her passion for education and writing after changing careers. She was inspired by her Teens and Tots students and her new nephew.
 
She has dedicated her life to helping children and hopes to encourage reading. She obtained her Master of Arts in Teaching from Manhattanville College and a Masters in Humanistic and Multicultural Education at SUNY New Paltz. Previously, she graduated with degrees in art and fashion merchandising.
