The author’s incarceration in a rehab was an absolute opportunity for him to return to the Savior Jesus Christ.

“I believe the Great Creator has given mankind all things to “live” and “survive” here on this earth and the Life to com”e.

Former alcoholic and drug user Gregory McLeod imparts his spiritual journey of reconciliation and reparation in his book “The Apathetical Man.” His book recounts his detention inside a rehabilitation center when he realized his purpose in life.

Gregory recalled telling his counselor that he wanted to leave from the care of rehab because neither the counselor nor anyone there could help him. He went through the rehabilitation program a lot but he would end up right back in the same position. His counselor responded that he could help Gregory if only the would-be author could tell him what was wrong. After the counselor left, Gregory’s senses returned and discerned that he needed to tell the kindly counselor his wicked past. Gregory actually left behind his spirituality. He abandoned God.

Consequently, he understood that his mental illness was caused by simply ending his relationship with God. So, he opened himself back to God and quickly renewed his understanding of life. According to Gregory, “God can’t help a man, if the man stands in the way.” When a person abandons God, he will go astray. But He will find a way to bring that person back to Him.

Gregory’s self-actualization is indeed remarkably discerning! Don’t miss more of his reflections as he joins the 2019 Guadalajara International Book Fair. This international gathering happens on November 30, 2019 to December 8, 2019 in Guadalajara, Mexico.

“The Apathetical Man” is now on sale at bookstores countrywide and through online retailers like Amazon, Barnes & Noble and eBay. Gregory McLeod also runs his own website at www.mcleodgregory.com so readers can check updates about the author.

About the Author

Gregory Martin McLeod was born on Christmas Day. At an early age, he abused drugs and alcohol and got into trouble. At 14, he was a full-blown alcoholic and drug user. When he was 16 years old, he was sent off to a psychiatric hospital. He was also diagnosed with bipolar disorder and sought professional help. While working as an electrician for a manufacturing firm, he halted his medical intake but landed back to rehab. He would switch between relapse and remission for some time until a genuine doctor helped him pull through. Through Gregory’s genuine recovery, he realized he needed spiritual healing and returned to his first love—Jesus Christ.
