US Navy veteran and author Lawrence Drexel Jr. to hold a book signing session at the Miami Book Fair 2019

The Long Island native and current Seattle resident adds his work to the growing number of zombie novels.

Lawrence Drexel Jr., the author of the zombie novel “Project: Revenant” (Page Publishing; 2019) will be attending the Miami Book Fair 2019. Founded in 1984 and originally known as “Books by the Bay,” the annual literary festival will kick off on Nov. 17-24, 2019 at the Miami Dade College - Wolfson Campus, Miami, USA.
The Miami Book Fair was found in 1984 and is originally known as “Books by the Bay.” As the most important book festival in the U.S., the book fair aims to promote reading, encourage writing, and heighten an awareness of literacy and the literary arts in the city’s multi-ethnic community. In 2018, the Miami Book Fair attracted an estimated number of 200,000 visitors, plus 500+ authors and 200+ exhibitors.
Drexel Jr., whose zombie novel “Project: Revenant” will be exhibited by ReadersMagnet at the Miami Book Fair 2019 Street Fair, is one of the authors who will hold a book signing session on Nov. 23, 2019, Saturday, at 1:00pm to 2:00pm.
“Project: Revenant” tells the race-against-time story of a recently retired scientist and field agent who agrees to be reinstated in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. Tasked with finding out what causes the zombie outbreak, he has to search for clues and piece together a cover-up that dates back almost twenty years.

About the Author
Lawrence Drexel was born and raised on Long Island, NY to working class parents. He is no stranger to adversity. He was born with a stutter and faced harsh bullying for most of his life. When he was 21 years old, he enlisted in the United States Navy and after 4 years of service, he was honorably discharged. Once he had his discharge in hand, he moved to Seattle, WA to pursue his childhood dream of being a writer and author. The rest, as they say, is history.
