Founded in 2018 by John Elway, Larry Mueller, and George Solich, PIVOT recently collaborated with Kimbal Musk’s organization, Big Green, the DU Graduate School of Professional Psychology, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado through its first series of grants totaling $279,800 in a pilot program benefiting the Girls Athletic Leadership School of Denver (GALS). The funding supported a new learning garden and nutrition program, in addition to mental wellness and mentoring programs at the Denver charter school.

“I am thrilled to join PIVOT’s growing organization as we work to ensure a future where children and young adults are empowered to thrive,” said Roberson. “I truly believe that our community profits from the collective approach and I’m looking forward to maximizing investments in our state’s youth.”
