He wonderfully explains how every member of the Christian community should avoid participating in war and conflict and learn how to become good listeners to His word instead. “The Listeners” details insights about justice, evil, and war based on what’s written in the Bible. It emphasizes how listening and obeying God’s will is one way of becoming in tune with His plan for His people. The author also discusses how Christians are God’s children or members of His team.
