Residents and guests of Skyline Ranch Country Club in Valley Center donated the proceeds from their Women and Men’s Golf Clubs Charity Tournament to The Elizabeth Hospice. This is the seventh year that Skyline Ranch has chosen The Elizabeth Hospice as the beneficiary of their fundraising event, bringing the total amount raised to more than $45,000.

“We are grateful to the Skyline Ranch Women and Men’s Golf Clubs for their support of the patients and families we serve who are impacted by illness, grief and loss,” said Jan Jones, President and CEO of The Elizabeth Hospice. “Their generosity helps ensure that all community members receive exceptional end-of-life care, regardless of their ability to pay. “

“I always have a warm feeling when I think of The Elizabeth Hospice because they are an important community resource,” said Diana Parker, Luncheon and Auction Chair, Skyline Ranch Country Club. “The Skyline Ranch community is happy The Elizabeth Hospice is the beneficiary of our golf tournament because this helps ensure they will be around to take care of our residents when the need arises.”

“The Elizabeth Hospice took care of my mother over 20 years ago,” added Paul Turner, Skyline Ranch Country Club resident. “We would have been lost without their support. I’m so glad we are able give back through this event.”

As an independent nonprofit provider of hospice and palliative care and grief support, The Elizabeth Hospice relies on charitable contributions from individuals and businesses to continue its mission. Donations can be made online at elizabethhospice.org/donate.
