An egg full of surprises awaits readers of this fun and humorous children’s story

“The Helium Egg” (PRGott Books Publishing; 2010) is the second in a children’s book series written by E. Dorinda Shelley and illustrated by Eleanor A. Hutton. The series is about the barnyard animals on a farm owned by the family of a young girl named Kath. The stories in the series revolve around helium.
In “The Helium Egg,” Little Black Hen finds a soft blue egg. The strange thing about this egg is that it expands and floats upward. All the animals including the ducks, geese, donkeys, sheep, cats, dogs, and even peacocks have to sit on the floating egg to weight it down and stop it from floating out of the barn.
What hatches out of the mysterious egg will greatly surprise everyone in the barn – and change the life of one of the animals.
