Carolyn revealed that living with a loved one with schizophrenia is tough. The symptoms of schizophrenia were subtle, and she had no idea that her husband would be afflicted with that illness as time progressed. She also struggled with the dilemma whether to leave her husband or not. Because she chose to keep the family together, her husband was productive as a part-time college instructor for twenty-two years, even with schizophrenia.
Ultimately, her faith in God and the church they joined stood by her during her struggle. That made her faith so powerful that she has a strong personal relationship with God, who would meet her need with Bible verses. She declared that God became the lover of her soul after the passing of her husband.

Carolyn T. Linn is a retired educator and banker. She married an academician and bore two wonderful children. She had an amazing family until her husband was diagnosed with a mental illness. After her husband’s death, she coped with her struggle and published “Loving a Beautiful Mind.” She is an advocate for mental illness and travels internationally.
She also released “Heaven is Amazing!” This book is a reflection of her confidence that her husband is thriving in heaven and she knows she will meet him there again.
