This is the first book from Dr. Frye, a life balance performance strategy expert. It will soon be displayed at the 2019 ALA Annual Conference and Exhibition, a premier library event that gathers library professionals from around the world to learn about current issues and trends in library and information science and technology. The event is scheduled on June 21-24, 2019 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.

The purpose of this book, as its title suggests, is to discuss the relationship between job satisfaction, work life and family life balance among senior executive service members within the federal government. Dr. Frye explores the attitudes and beliefs of these employees (who are qualified to apply for executive level positions) regarding their work-family life balance to job satisfaction; their lack of interest in applying for executive level positions; the factors behind home and work imbalance, increased work stress and pressures, among other topics in the book.

Dr. Frye’s book will help leaders address the increasing imbalance between work and family life and offers creative and effective suggested programs, resources, and workplace environment recommendations which strengthen job satisfaction levels and satisfy work life and family life balance issues.
