Gorilla Logic Names Daniel Berg Chief Executive Officer

Gorilla Logic, a leading software development and consulting services provider, today announced that Daniel Berg has been appointed as the company’s Chief Executive Officer.

The increasing focus on digital transformation, coupled with Gorilla Logic’s proven success in supporting customers with distributed Agile teams in the U.S., Costa Rica, and Colombia has driven significant ongoing growth over the past several years. As Gorilla Logic’s CEO, Daniel will focus on the company’s growth trajectory by further advancing its expansion, while continuing to support its outstanding culture, custom application development, and partnership experience.

Gorilla Logic co-founders Stu Stern and Ed Schwarz will now serve on the board of directors along-side investors from Sverica Capital, moving away from day-to-day executive management duties to focus on strategic growth for the business.

Dan brings more than two decades of leadership experience in the technology industry. Previously, he held executive-level management, product and engineering roles including CTO of Jump Cloud, CPO of SolidFire / Vice President and GM of SolidFire group at NetApp,  Vice President of R&D at Avaya, CTO of Skype, and earlier, he spent 15 years at Sun Microsystems in a variety of engineering and management roles including being named a Distinguished Engineer. 

Having worked both in the U.S. and internationally throughout his career, Dan’s passion for technology has developed to include a focus on continuous integration and deployment development models that stimulate communication, collaboration and innovation. He is a published technical author and thought leader in today’s most advanced engineering and development methodologies.
