About the Author
Twanna Howell Davis is a native Floridian born in Daytona Beach and have resided in Lake Wales, Florida since 1964. She is married, have three adult children and four grandboys. She comes from a family of active church members, educators and community activists. Twanna has a Masters Degree in Education from National Louis University.

She retired from Polk County Schools in May 2016. She was still working when she had the book published by Frisen Press and presently working on other manuscripts. She was an ESE Academic and Behavior Support Teacher working with teachers and students in grades kindergarten through twelveth grade. She is also a member of local and state organizations.

She attended Roosevelt Elem. and McLaughlin Middle School in Lake Wales. While attending Lake Wales High School, she was a cheerleader, belonged to different clubs, and was elected as one of the Twelve Most Outstanding Seniors by her classmates.

She graduated from Polk Community College and graduated from the University of Florida in 1979. She completed her education studies at Florida Southern College in Lakeland.

She has enjoyed reading and writing children books and poetry since fourth grade. One of her favorite things to do is read books to her grandboys with a lot of emotion and drama.
