In the Rev. Roger W. Baker’s eyes, America has become a social-degenerate nation, mainly because of the conspiracy, treachery and ineptness by its leadership in educating and developing the socio-economically disadvantaged at-risk children, youth, and adults. His drive to change all this has led him to penning his first book, which students, teachers, parents, church, community and state leaders, and just people of all ages sure can take a life’s worth of penny or two from.

Rev. Baker believes that “every human being has a soul; and in his soul is life which includes self-awareness, mentality, conscious, and volition.” He goes on to say that these attributes are what make one accountable to the Lord Jesus Christ, his Creator, in receiving his eternal reward - whether tormented in the eternal lake of fire, or peaceful and joyful in eternal life with God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. His ultimate goal in writing the book is that “every human being and family will get a better understanding of the meaning of the Scriptures, one’s tradition, experiences, reasoning, faith, and practice in their holistic approach to life.”

About the Author
The Rev. Roger W. Baker is an African- American theologian with a Master of Divinity degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas; a retired U.S. Army Drill Sergeant of twenty-two years of service; and a retired elder from the United Methodist denomination. Rev. Baker has written documentaries every semester in his four years of graduate school at Southern Methodist University.
