Successful Business Woman Helen Spring Gives Us an Incredible Tale of Friendship

The heroine’s struggle and the importance of being able to find the courage within herself to succeed with the help of her loyal friends.

Heswall, Wirral, UK – WEBWIRE

This is the story of a well-bred young English girl flung by circumstance into the privations and hardship of life in Australia in the early 1900’s. “Strands of Gold” charts the struggle of Lucy Rowlands to escape the brutality of a loveless marriage and create a new identity.

Lucy’s perilous journey to live as a different person is something that we can all relate to because at one time or another, we have had the desire to run away from it all and lead a new life. She had gone through a tremendous ordeal after returning to her Singapore home, and then faced a doubly tragic outcome.

What are you willing to do to live the life that you desire? Are you willing to go through all the hardships to get to your destination? As you read through each page, you will be faced with some hard realizations in life through Lucy’s eyes.

She finds her true gold in friendship, in the unforgettable stoicism of Matthew, the uncle who gives up everything when she needs him, Jarvis, who gives his life, and Greg, who is transformed from frog prince to gold prospector, and tempts her with peaches.

A true friend is as valuable as gold and therefore should be cherished. In this world, not everyone is fortunate enough to find a rare gem. When you find one, don’t ever let it slip away.
