Bloomberg Launches Mexico BIVA and BMV Composite

Bloomberg, a global leader in business and financial information and technology, today announced a Mexican equity data composite view for securities traded on Mexico’s stock exchanges.

The enhancement impacts all equities traded on Mexico’s Bolsa Institucional de Valores (Biva) and Bolsa Mexicana de Valores (BMV) exchanges.  The unified view can be seen on the Bloomberg Terminal using the “MM” exchange code in conjunction with the securities’ ticker, which used to carry just BMV data, but the pricing now includes BIVA, too.

Any Bloomberg client who wishes to utilize the MM Composite must have access to both BIVA and BMV real-time data that can be requested via the Terminal, on {EXC-GO-}. In addition, Bloomberg clients who wish to utilize this data in their internal applications can do so via Bloomberg’s consolidated Market Data Feed (B-PIPE), which offers real-time data and delayed streaming data.
