Fujifilm to Feature Next-Generation ELUXEO Endoscopic Visualization System at SGNA 2019
(Booth # 309) – FUJIFILM Medical Systems U.S.A., Inc., a leading provider of endoscopic imaging solutions, will showcase its ELUXEO® Endoscopic Visualization System, the company’s next-generation image enhanced endoscopy platform, along with its comprehensive portfolio of imaging and technology solutions for gastrointestinal applications at the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA) 46th Annual Course. The conference will take place from April 14-16 at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, OR.
“When it comes to GI healthcare delivery, no one is in the trenches quite like GI nurses and associates. Every day they balance caring for patients while also supporting clinicians, so they understand the needs of both,” says Johann Fernando, Ph.D., Chief Operating Officer of FUJIFILM Medical Systems U.S.A., Inc. “For Fujifilm, SGNA is a forum where we can collaborate with these important stakeholders. Gaining their unique perspectives helps us continue to realize technological innovations that address pressing challenges, drive change, and help take GI care to the next level.”
Fujifilm’s ELUXEO Endoscopic Visualization System is comprised of the 7000 Video Imaging System and 700 Series Endoscopes. It features 4-LED Multi-Light Technology, which creates Blue Light Imaging (BLI) and Linked Color Imaging (LCI®) special light observation modes. The 7000 Video Imaging System has an extended LED lamp life expectancy of up to six years, minimizing time-consuming and costly light bulb replacements as compared with conventional Xenon lamps. The 700 Series Endoscopes feature a host of advancements in comfort, efficiency, and visualization. This platform offers improved image quality in terms of sharpness and brightness, delivering optimal visual information for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in daily clinical practice.
Visitors to Fujifilm’s booth will also have the opportunity to see Fujifilm’s Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD) devices, which are designed for use with compatible endoscopes and aid in performing effective ESD interventions within the digestive tract; The Therapeutic Double Balloon Endoscope (DBE), which is engineered to unlock difficult to reach pathways within the digestive tract; and, Ultrasonic Video Endoscopes which provide excellent maneuverability and insertion capability and are designed to be used with Fujifilm’s SU-1 Ultrasonic Processor .
As Fujifilm values education and encourages proper training, the company will support “Train the Trainer: The Reprocessing Competency Defined,” a course designed to encourage best practices relating to scope reprocessing through hands-on practice with Fujifilm’s new 700 Series Endoscopes.
