Bedtime Tale Encourages Good Sleeping Pattern for Kids

When a child wakes up in the middle of the night, parents cannot snooze tight. Everyone will end up tired the next day, and the cycle continues until the child is comfortable in his own bed. That is one of the parenting challenges that Diana Yacobi and Lily Safrani try to address in “Everyone Is Asleep but Me.”
 
Children will be inspired to avoid nighttime sleep disruptions with the story. It starts with Sleepy Bear waking up while the moon is still shining bright. He finds his toys sleeping peacefully around him. He decides to check his parents, who are also in their dreamlands. He wishes to join them, but there is no space in between, so he decides to climb back into his own bed and sleep again.
 
Diana dedicates this book to her grandchildren—Erez, Maya, Ethan, and Milan—who inspired this illustrated book, and according to her: “These days, they’re all great sleepers.”

About the Author
The mother-daughter tandem of Diana Yacobi and Lily Safrani collaborated on two books. Aside from the story of Sleepy Bear, they worked on a Hebrew reading curriculum, “Read Hebrew Now,” intended to aid both children and adult in learning the language.
