Author Jimmy Straley sends in the Messenger of the Reaper

To his surprise, he was offered to retire as a consultant with a catch. He now has five new recruits to observe for evaluation and to train as his replacement in the life he used to live. With careful evaluation, he was able to choose one and although he was only meant to train the recruit, he instead formed a bond with him, one considered to be more than just friendship, something unbreakable. At the end of their training, the hitman asks for one last request. The journey they shared is dramatic with unveiled secrets and more adventure.

“Messenger of the Reaper” was reviewed by Writers Guild of America West on November 3, 2016, and was invited to participate to Pitch Fest on 2016. It had already been shelved and Jimmy Straley had his book signing at Barnes and Nobles.
