Going out for a holiday and a weekend full of fun and games is great until something bad happens to you. In Stacey Lynn Patterson’s “Torn Between,” childhood friends Gabriella, Xavier, Inez, Jess, and Ash go out for a vacation of a lifetime to relax and explore. While they run along their merry way, Gabriella, a budding photographer, does what she does best: take photos. However, an unfortunate accident took place leaving her in a 2-week coma. When she wakes up, she feels different, incomplete, as if a part of her is missing. And indeed it has when she left something in the realm of The Between.
