ShotStop® Announces Free Trial of Its Best Body Armor Plates

ShotStop Ballistics announced its new body armor Free Trial Program, a chance for police departments and other law enforcement agencies who are currently considering new body armor to truly experience the company’s best body armor in the real world for up to 90 days. Many body armor companies offer a 14-day or maybe 30-day Testing & Evaluation (T&E) programs, but ShotStop believes such programs don’t provide enough time to get a true feel for new armor plates.

“This is more than just T&E,” said Jason Henkel, ShotStop’s Director of Sales and Operations. “Testing a set of new plates for just a couple weeks doesn’t allow for more than only a few officers to run the plates in real-life situations.”

The free body armor trial program now offered by ShotStop provides agencies and departments the opportunity to give multiple operators a chance to run the plates over the course of up to three months.

How to Qualify for ShotStop’s New Body Armor Free Trial Program?

The process of applying for this body armor free trial is fairly simple:

1. Visit the application page: https://shotstopllc.lpages.co/free-trial-lp1/.
2. Fill out the form on the page.
3. A ShotStop representative will reach out within a week to let you know if your agency/department qualifies.

There are a limited number of free trials that can be running at any given time, but the basic criteria for qualification for the program include the following:

• Your agency/department must be currently in the process of considering replacing its body armor (within the next 12 months)
• Your agency/department must have a minimum of forty (40) operators.
• Your primary contact must provide detailed feedback after the free trial period (whether or not you make a purchase).
  

Are There Any Restrictions During the Free Trial Period?

“I’m sure the first question most people will have is, ‘What’s the catch?’” said Henkel. “There’s not one. We are so confident in our product that we feel a 90-day free trial will give an agency plenty of time and experience to know if our plate is a good fit for its needs.”

There really is no catch. After the 90-day program, if a participating agency or department decides ShotStop body armor does not meet its needs, the plates can be returned with no commitment other than answering a few questions about the experience.

If a shoot test is required, the details of that test can be coordinated with a ShotStop representative.

The body armor Free Trial Program is not limited to only one or two of ShotStop’s body armor products; all four of its best body armor plates can be considered for the program. You can choose from several Level III plates or their lightweight Level IV body armor insert.
