Indiana announces 24-hour BMV Connect Center grand opening in Mishawaka

Self-service kiosks allow residents to renew car registrations and driver’s licenses on their own schedule

The Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles is expanding their BMV Connect kiosk program with a new 24/7 BMV Connect Center. The center, located just outside the entrance to the Mishawaka BMV, offers four self-service kiosks provided by Intellectual Technology, Inc. The BMV Connect kiosks allow Indiana residents to conduct their vehicle registration and other BMV business on their own schedule.
The Indiana BMV has scheduled a media event for 1:00-3:00 p.m. Thursday, January 17, 2019, at the Mishawaka BMV Branch, 2544 Miracle Lane, Mishawaka, IN 46545.
The kiosk program has proven popular with Hoosiers looking for convenient ways to renew vehicle registrations and much more. More than 455,000 Indiana citizens used BMV Connect kiosks in 2018. This popularity is due to placing kiosks in easily accessible locations with 24-hour access, allowing citizens to complete many different BMV transactions when they want and the way they want.
The kiosks are as easy to use as an ATM, and most transactions can be completed in as little as two minutes. Simply scan your driver’s license, swipe your credit card, and then print your registration card and decal or receipt for a renewed license. Indiana’s BMV Connect kiosks accept payment by credit, debit card, or cash. On-screen instructions and voice prompts are available in English or Spanish.
