PCL Construction’s Jennifer Farnham Named 2018 Business Woman of the Year

In celebration of its 25th year of service, the San Diego Business Journal selected 25 remarkable women, out of 200 submissions, to be honored with the recognition of Business Women of the Year. The award was given to outstanding women leaders and recognizes them for their exceptional work in business as well as for the positive impacts they have made within the San Diego community. Each of the women selected are embodiments of women who lead, inspire, and empower other women.

As area manager for the 100 percent employee-owned firm, Jennifer is the epitome of true leadership, going above and beyond in developing others to be their best.

Jennifer has over 25 years of experience in the construction industry and has been instrumental in securing several projects throughout San Diego, including the Federal Inspection Station (FIS) facility at the San Diego International Airport and University of San Diego’s Triton Pavilion.

As a 16-year resident of San Diego, Jennifer has been an active member of various industry and community boards and committees including the North County Business Chamber, Sharp Healthcare Foundation, the Willow Grove Educational Foundation, the Associated General Contractors (AGC), and is a current board member of the Downtown San Diego Partnership.
