Self-help book by Adventist couple David and Beverly Sedlacek aims to heal broken hearts and wounded spirits

Inspired by neuroscience and a theologian’s discourse on the topic of forgiveness, the authors published a new edition of their Christian living book.

Buchanan, MI, USA – WEBWIRE

The book extols Jesus Christ as the healer who heals broken hearts and wounded spirits.

David and Beverly Sedlacek have published the third edition of their book “Cleansing the Sanctuary of the Heart: Tools for Emotional Healing” (ReadersMagnet; 2018) to incorporate their newly acquired knowledge on neuroscience and new thinking and practices on forgiveness.
With their background in both mental health and Christian ministry, the Sedlaceks use their new insights to help readers, particularly survivors of dysfunctional families or relationships, to break the cycle of sin and dysfunction, the “victim-victimizer” cycle, the cycle of childhood trauma, the cycle of wounding in order to find healing and restore their relationship with the Lord.
The authors, through their work, extol Jesus Christ as the healer whose promise of healing is for those with broken hearts and wounded spirits, and a model of love and forgiveness.
“Jesus wants to search our hearts and help us see our sin,” said the authors, “Then when we sincerely come in repentance, He will gladly free us from the sin that has been binding us to its consequences.”
David and Beverly Sedlacek’s “Cleansing the Sanctuary of the Heart: Tools for Emotional Healing” is recommended for readers who desire emotional healing from childhood trauma and individuals looking to deepen their relationship with God.
