Casio to Release EDIFICE Solar-Powered Chronograph Featuring 3D Dial

Dynamic Design Inspired by Motorsports

Casio Computer Co., Ltd. announced today the release of new additions to the EDIFICE line of high-performance sport watches. The new EQS-920 solar chronographs feature a three-dimensional dial that gives them a dynamic look and feel.

The new EQS-920 models are driven by solar power and one charge lasts for up to 5 months. The battery level can be easily checked by pressing and holding the bottom button for one second; the inset hand at the six o’clock position will indicate the battery charging level by pointing at one of the letters: L (low), M (mid) or H (high). The timepieces feature a 3D watchface with three subdials providing stopwatch and 24-hour measurement functions.

The stainless steel EQS-920 is available in three models. The EQS-920BL comes with a blue leather band with blue ion plated bezel; and the two EQS-920DB models employ a stainless steel band and feature a sleek black face with a black ion plated bezel.

The EDIFICE brand has been an official partner of the F1 racing team Scuderia Toro Rosso since January 2016. Scuderia Toro Rosso’s passionate pursuit of speed and outstanding technological innovations resonate with the EDIFICE brand and its brand concept of “Speed and Intelligence.” EDIFICE chronographs aggressively incorporate advanced functions made possible by cutting-edge electronics technologies from Casio.
