NFI Ranked Second in Top North Texas Family-Owned Businesses List by Dallas Business Journal

NFI, a leading supply chain provider, was recently named a top North Texas Family Owned-Business by the Dallas Business Journal. The list was ranked by number of local full-time employees, in which NFI ranked second with a total of 865 North Texas employees.

Founded by the Brown family in 1932, NFI is currently headed by the third-generation brothers Sid, Jeff, and Ike. In North America, NFI employs more than 10,500 associates and operates 41.5 million square feet of warehouse and distribution space. Its dedicated and drayage fleet consists of over 4,000 tractors and 9,000 trailers. Today, NFI operates nearly 3 million sq. ft. of warehousing space in the North Texas area, while its North Texas dedicated fleet is made up of nearly 700 tractors and almost 200 trailers. Additionally, NFI’s intermodal operations are based in Irving, servicing both the U.S. and Canada.
