Westford, Massachusetts Nutritionist and Wellness Consultant Wins First Place for Her TV Show: “Thin, Strong, Healthy”

Westford, MA USA – WEBWIRE

“Many of us don’t understand how food can affect us. Of course we know it can make us gain weight, but there is a real need out there in the world for what I am doing.”

Cheryl A Major, Certified Nutrition & Wellness Consultant and Westford, Massachusetts resident, has been awarded first place from the Northeast Alliance for Community Media in the category of Science, Health and Spirituality for the episode titled, “Gluten… Evil or Not.”  The program aired on her TV show, “Thin, Strong, Healthy,” produced at Westford Community Access TV.

“Eliminating gluten from my diet was one of the keys to alleviating my chronic depression,” Major says.  “I knew I was sensitive to it, but didn’t realize how taking it off my plate would change my life!”

Major now writes and produces regular programs like the award winning one to help others understand how they can change their lives and their health, both mentally and physically, by changing what they eat.  In these shows, she shares timely information on food and health and often includes a popular cooking segment that shows her viewers how easy it is to create simple, delicious dishes.

“Many of us don’t understand how food can affect us. Of course we know it can make us gain weight, but there is a real need out there in the world for what I am doing. Once people know the cause and effect of different eating habits, at the very least, they will be in a position to make informed decisions about what food to put on the table. I am dedicated to getting the word out in every way I can.”

To this end, Major maintains an active blog, ThinStrongHealthy.com, writes weekly articles for WestfordCat and is writing another book to guide those interested in joining her on the journey to better health through healthier eating.  She is working on a new podcast that will allow people to listen to her healthier eating message in “short, easy to digest bites.”

Her new book, “Eat Your Blues Away” has been published by Hunter’s Moon Publishing and is available on Amazon in both paperback and Kindle.

Cheryl also has resources, free recipes and updated information to help you be and feel your healthiest on her website, ThinStrongHealthy.com and is currently accepting new clients into her personalized program.
