Patricia Herber, author of Butterflies, Bears, and Other Poems for Children, holds a B.S. degree in Elementary Education from Shippensburg University and a Master’s Degree from Penn State University. She is a retired first grade teacher who taught and resides in Pine Grove, Pennsylvania. She enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her 7 grandchildren. It is her hope that she will nurture in them a joy of reading that will last a lifetime. She is especially delighted to share her engaging rhyming poems and amusing illustrations through this book.
