Sinomach subsidiary inks partnership with Lufthansa Technik

China Ocean Aviation Group, a wholly-owned subsidiary of China National Machinery Industry Co (Sinomach), signed an engine repair agreement with Germany’s Lufthansa Technik AG at the 12th China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition which was held in Zhuhai, Guangdong province, from Nov 6 to 11.

The $5.18-million contract commits Lufthansa Technik to providing maintenance and services for five business aircraft owned by the group.

Ma Jingchang, deputy general manager of China Ocean Aviation Group, introduced the company’s history, business divisions and achievements to Mark Johnson, CEO of Lufthansa Technik AG and said that he hoped the two sides would further their partnership in the future.

Lufthansa Technik AG has been committed to providing its services and expertise to China’s aviation sector for a number of years, and the new agreement with China Ocean Aviation Group will continue its links with the country.
