The Mercedes-Benz Summer of Concerts will enter its third round next year. Two acts have already been confirmed: on 4 July 2019, Andreas Bourani will open the Summer of Concerts event on the big open-air festival stage, where he will showcase his new songs to the audience. The pop musician celebrated great success with “Nur in meinem Kopf”, “Auf uns” and “Astronaut” (together with Sido).

The “Walk off the Earth” band will be the highlight of the big children’s and family day on 7 July 2019. Back in 2012, the Canadian indie pop band became known worldwide with its cover version of the song “Somebody That I Used to Know” from Gotye, with the corresponding video having been viewed millions of times over on YouTube.

Tickets for all four concerts will be available online at www.konzertsommer.com and at all ticket offices starting 26 November 2018.

The 2017 Mercedes-Benz Summer of Concerts premiered with appearances by Freundeskreis, Rea Garvey, Teesy & Vona and Lina. In 2018, rapper Kontra K. and singer-songwriter Clueso became part of the programme. Both years, the big children’s and family day in and around the Mercedes-Benz Museum rounded off the event.

With the 2019 Summer of Concerts, the Mercedes-Benz Museum and Stuttgart concert promoter Chimperator Live will continue the format launched in 2017 together with Four Artists Events and the Stuttgart-based communications agency 0711 Livecom.

The Mercedes-Benz Museum is open daily from Tuesday to Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The ticket desk always closes at 5 p.m. Registration, reservations and latest information: Monday to Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. on +49 (0)711 17-30000, email to classic@daimler.com or online at www.mercedes-benz-classic.com/museum.
