Margie’s adventure in a fantastic dream land is yet on another level. Margaret Gerow takes Margie, her friends, and the readers to the third level of fun and amazing lessons in “Margie and the School of Hard Knocks-Level Three.”
The third of the seven levels of Margie’s journey is a joyous ride to China. This time, Margie and her friends encounter interesting sets of problems and surprises—one of which happened to Sing (one of Margie’s friends) the time they set foot on the People’s Republic. She was greeted with an unexpected encounter from an unknown relative. While their meeting definitely startled Sing, the succeeding events left the kids taken aback. They are about to be grouped together according to their personalities—along with other students from six schools—testing their abilities to get along with each other.
This level poses the question: “Do like-minded people get along well by living together?” And also tests Margie in ways she never expected before. She was led into this dreamland to re-experience life as a child, giving her the chance to resolve her issues to eventually attain inner peace.
This is an exciting trip for Margie as well as the readers. “Level Three is indeed not a walk in the park. Changes are everywhere.” Gerow says. “What more should they anticipate? Discover through the pages of this delightful tale of adventure and learning.”
