National Physician Organization Creates Alliance with Medication Management Provider

Today, Averlent Corporation, the sponsor of the National Medication Management Initiative (NMMI), announced it has entered into an alliance with The Independent Physicians Association of America (TIPAAA).  The purpose of the union is to enhance patient medication compliance in order to achieve better outcomes, while simultaneously mitigating unnecessary health care costs associated with medication mismanagement.
 
The interaction between TIPAAA and Averlent centers on each party’s strength.  For TIPAAA, it brings a large physician and patient base to the table.  Averlent delivers its remarkable technology to the partnership.  The alliance between the entities fills an industry void: one that will enable TIPAAA-affiliated physicians to provide their patients an unparalleled and individualized system to manage their medications 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
 
TIPAA is the largest independent physician association (IPA) in the United States.  Its president, Al Holloway, started the organization over 25 years ago.  TIPAAA currently consists of over 700 individual IPAs.  The IPAs represent over 115,000 primary care physicians and in excess of 180,000 specialists.
