James Edward Best Releases “The Irate Pirate” That Tackles the Conflict in a Young Boy’s Heart

A beautifully illustrated book that suits the readership of children ages from 6-10 years old has been released by author James Edward Best. “The Irate Pirate” is published by Outskirts Press.

From the title itself, it gives the readers a glimpse as to how a young boy being trained to be a pirate detests the idea of stealing.  Training hard every day to be a pirate, following his father’s path, Petie realizes that he is not cut out to be one and he does not want to be one.

Petie’s dilemma is how to tell his loved ones, friends and classmates, and how they will react. This is a problem that is common not only to kids but also to adults. The book brings each reader the reality that at any point of a person’s life, that person will face a deciding point whether to pursue one’s happiness, or merely fulfill the expectations of others.
