In his blind obedience to the Pharisees, he threatened the murders of the disciples of Jesus—the Christians. On his way to Damascus, the striking light of Jesus Christ, His voice, His will, declared the transformation of the vicious centurion into His servant. After the encounter, the centurion yelled, for his eyes became blind, but his mission revealed to all.
