Oh my Chef! with Olivier Falchi

Chef Olivier Falchi boarded flight AF229 connecting Buenos Aires (Argentina) to Paris-Charles de Gaulle for a new edition of the Oh my Chef! event. With this event, the company regularly invites a chef on board an Air France flight to share their menu, meet passengers and hear their impressions.

During the flight, Olivier Falchi shared his vision of gourmet cuisine with passengers and personally presented his dishes. Two happy customers received a golden ticket on their meal trays, an invitation to enjoy a meal at home prepared by the chef in person!

From May 2018 to April 2019, Air France has chosen the talented chef from the Gers region to create a signature dish on the menu in the Business cabin along with an appetizer available in the different cabin classes on flights on departure from Buenos Aires (Argentina).
 

Olivier Falchi – a French chef in Argentina

Since arriving in Argentina in 1998 where his talent has allowed him to occupy a prominent place in Argentinian gastronomic cuisine, Olivier Falchi currently lives in Buenos Aires.

Throughout his career, he has won numerous prizes including first prize in the Toques d’Or, El Gorro de Oro del Chef (Nestlé contest), Cucharón de Oro, Manos a la Olla awards and the Aztec Cuisine Award (American selection for the Bocuse d’Or).

In 2018, he was a demi-finalist for the Meilleur Ouvrier de France title in Paris. He is also currently a member of the French Culinary Academy, a member of the International Professional Chefs association, a member of the Lucullus association as well as the French Gastronomy Association in Argentina and an honorary graduate of the Culinary Institute of French Gastronomy.
