The group will seek to publish books that have broad appeal around the globe, and will work to coordinate publishing and share best practices across divisions.

“Spanish is one language in many countries, and our global platform will allow us to create a center of excellence, acquiring works that have broad appeal, both in the U.S. and throughout the Spanish-speaking world,” said Curr. “Fredrik Backman is an international bestseller in dozens of languages, and I am thrilled to be able to publish his works in Spanish. On the non-fiction side, Jose Antonio Vargas’s story is an important book of the moment that will certainly resonate with readers.”
