Alvina Y. Platt-Gregory publishes book of spiritual poems

The New Jersey author channels her inner poet to express her devotion to God.

Willingboro, New Jersey, USA – WEBWIRE

For poems that praise God and offer spiritual knowledge and truth, dig deep into “Poetic Parables”.

What better way is there to express faith and to praise and thank the Lord than to write a poem with verses that rhyme. Alvina Y. Platt-Gregory did just that with her book “Poetic Parables: Listen with Your Heart” (ReadersMagnet; 2018).
A devotional and self-help-book rolled into one, “Poetic Parables” will inspire faith and joy in one’s search for spiritual knowledge and truth. Said Platt-Gregory in her dedication page, “I dedicate this book to all who are looking for answers to the ‘What, why and where’ in their lives and seeking the only one who really cares if they survive.”
“Poetic Parables” contains 54 poems touching on various topics, such as marriage (“A Wedding Prayer”, “Marital Bliss”, and “Holy Matrimony”), ministry and/or vocation (“Pastors from God”, ‘The Great Commission”, and “Jesus is hiring”), motherhood (“A Godly Mother”), longingness for God (“Jesus, I Want You!” and “I Sought GOD”), and praise (That’s Why I Praise You” and “Everything is of God”).
Bursting with thoughtful reflections, Alvina Y. Platt-Gregory’s “Poetic Parables: Listen with Your Heart” will open one’s heart and mind to God in every situation and at every opportunity.
