Eastman Business Park leadership transitions to David Bullwinkle with Dolores Kruchten’s retirement

Company to continue trend of revitalization and growth at Eastman Business Park

Rochester, NY – WEBWIRE

Today Kodak announced Dolores Kruchten will be retiring from her position as leader of Eastman Business Park (EBP) and Kodak Corporate Real Estate. Dolores has accomplished a great deal in her 36-year career as a senior executive, most recently leveraging the unique qualities of EBP as an ideal location for manufacturers in the chemical processing, biopharma, food and beverage processing, plastics, photonics and energy storage spaces.

Over the three years in her role, the number of companies operating in the Park has grown by more than 25%. The Kodak Center is being revitalized, with a new marquee, dozens of national acts and a new Kodak Experience Center opening on December 6, 2018.  The pipeline of new business is strong too, with over 47 active opportunities being worked right now. Other highlights of her tenure include:

  • Construction on a new housing complex with 187 multi-income units, is well under way at the corner of Dewey and Eastman Avenues
  • AIM Photonics Headquarters located in the ON-Semiconductor building located in Eastman Business Park
  • RED Rochester built a brand-new gas-fired boiler house to convert Eastman Business Park from coal to clean burning gas and celebrated its grand opening on July 31
  • Announcements on future locations for the new Junior Achievement Center and Finger Lakes Workforce Development Center to be located at EBP

“We appreciate the many accomplishments and contributions Dolores brought to Eastman Business Park,” said Jeff Clarke, CEO, Kodak. “We look forward to continuing to leverage this important asset to our company and the Greater Rochester Area.”

Kruchten is confident about the park’s future.

“Eastman Business Park is on a strong growth path today; new buildings are going up for the first time in decades,” said Dolores Kruchten. “The face of the area is changing for the good and I am very pleased to have had a chance to contribute to the revitalization of this great asset to the greater Rochester area, to New York State, and to the country.”

Moving forward, leadership will transition to Dave Bullwinkle, Chief Financial Officer of Kodak. Dave has been a strong supporter of Eastman Business Park and the work undertaken to date.

“We will continue to invest in Eastman Business Park to accelerate its growth and create more jobs,” said Bullwinkle. “Kodak operations hired 134 new employees in 2017 for a broad range of jobs, from Manufacturing Process Engineer to Plumber/Pipefitter to Chemical Operator and many more roles.”

Working for Dave in the management of EBP will be Arline Liberti, Vice President, Asset and Property, EBPD and Corporate Real Estate and Tim Palmer, Vice President, Development, EBPD and Corporate Real Estate.

Arline is responsible for corporate real estate contracts and properties globally for Kodak, as well as Rochester facility operations including expansions and upgrades, sales of real estate, lease management and tenant relationships.

Tim is responsible for marketing and development of Kodak real estate as well as increasing activity at the Kodak Center.  Tim works closely with Greater Rochester Enterprise, the Finger Lakes Regional Economic Development Council, and Empire State Development in this capacity.

Dolores’ last day will be November 5, 2018.
