Raejean Kanter Teaches the Young Ones About How Christmas is Celebrated All Over the World

A Milwaukee native and community advocate, Raejean Kanter enjoys helping out others. Through her Grandma Book Series, she is able to extend the opportunity to help out by teaching kids about the wonders and diversity of Christmases all over the world while making sure that they enjoy every part of it.
 
“Some Call Me Santa” is a great learning opportunity for young readers to learn more about the world and its different cultures. The story begins when Grandma Book was greeted with an unexpected surprise visitor—Santa Claus! He has been wondering what children from other countries call him. Even more so, he wants to know how the holidays are celebrated in their countries.
 
Together, they go on an adventure full of learning and wonder and every reader gets to experience this adventure with them. So, Grandma Book and Santa Claus are inviting the little ones to join them as they discover the wonders of Christmas all over the world one destination at a time.

About the Author
In her series Grandma Book’s World, Raejean Kanter combines two of her passions: love of children and travel. A grandmother of six, she has traveled to over forty countries in the world. The mission of the series is to help young children learn about other cultures to foster a greater understanding of inclusion. Ms. Kanter has a BBA from St. Norbert College and a MEd from Cardinal Stritch University.
