The West Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles is expanding their DMV Now kiosk program with two new kiosk locations. The kiosk program has proven popular with West Virginia residents looking for convenient ways to renew vehicle registrations and driver’s licenses. Much of this popularity is due to placing kiosks in easily accessible third-party retail stores, allowing citizens to complete popular DMV transactions on their own schedule.

In conjunction with Kroger, the West Virginia DMV has scheduled two grand opening events for Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at the following locations and times:

  • Barboursville Kroger, 6360 US Route 60 E, Barboursville, WV 25504 – 10:00 am
  • Scott Depot Kroger, 302 Great Teays Blvd, Scott Depot, WV 25560 – 1:00 pm

The DMV Now kiosks, provided by Intellectual Technology, Inc., allow West Virginia residents to conduct their vehicle registration and license renewal business on their own schedule. By placing self-service kiosks in convenient Kroger locations that are open extended hours, West Virginia drivers can now renew while purchasing groceries.

The kiosks are as easy to use as an ATM, and most transactions can be completed in as little as two minutes. Simply scan your driver’s license, swipe your credit card, and then print your registration card and decal or receipt for a renewed license. West Virginia’s DMV Now kiosks accept payment by credit or debit card. On-screen instructions and voice prompts are available in English or Spanish.

“Kroger has stores conveniently located throughout West Virginia,” said Allison McGee, corporate affairs manager for the Mid-Atlantic Division. “We’re delighted to collaborate with the DMV and ITI to provide an accessible location for the DMV Now kiosk program to make it more convenient for Mountaineer State residents to renew car registrations and driver licenses.”

West Virginia DMV Now kiosks are also located at select convenience stores and DMV offices throughout the state. For a complete listing of all kiosk locations, go to dmvnow.wv.gov.
