Life Experiences Embedded in Poetry Compilation
How a thespian used a classic art form to share his story
Beyond the relatable lines, poetry conveys man’s innermost emotions through the imagery it provides. Poems of Life / Faces of Poems has actor and author Byron Clark utilizing the powerful and invaluable literary art form.
Divided into eight “sagas,” Clark’s book consists of poems that give readers glimpses of his life story. A few sections pay tribute to the people who have made an impact on his life. Photographs enrich most of its pages as visual supplements to the textual pieces. Clark’s poems refrain from using superfluous words, opting for more straightforward language instead. Readers will find his pieces easily understandable due to their direct and conversational tone.
As with other poetic works, the pieces in Poems of Life allow readers to experience genuine human emotion. Copies are available in selected online bookstores for those who wish to purchase the book.
