Romance author Sally M. Russell brings in a burst of love and inspiration in new book

There is no stopping contemporary romance writer Sally M. There, the tall handsome stranger (and soon to be the town’s miracle worker) meets Daphne, a beautiful but naïve young girl who is ready to learn about love and does not feel afraid asking questions. Daphne has been the town’s princess since a very young age, being a part of the town’s founding family.
 
Although their first meeting is not love at first sight, often marked by a series of misunderstanding, love soon develops into full bloom between Carlton and Daphne. Their romance is encouraged by the former’s grandfather, who also endears himself to the town.
 
As readers  dwell  on the blossoming love affair between the stranger and the town’s  princess, they may also realize the randomness of life, which might help them to open up to a love that might come along in their own life’s journey.

About the Author
Sally M. Russell was born and raised in Illinois. After retiring, she and her second husband traveled, took a boat trip in their 28-1/2’ cruiser down eight rivers from Illinois to Mobile Bay, Alabama, and across the Gulf to Biloxi, Mississippi. They lived in Charlotte, North Carolina and Lawrence, Kansas before she returned to Illinois after his death to be near her two sons and their families. From an early age, Sally had always said she wanted to be a secretary. She had loved English and Math in school and was excited when asked to interview for a secretarial job through her Business Class in high school. That was just the start of her excitement when she found it also involved a lot of bookkeeping in a lumber business, and she felt she had found both of her favorite subjects. It was a very interesting job where she worked for 16 years but at two different times of 9 and then 7 years. Staying home and raising two boys were in between. She returned to work when her first husband became ill and passed away at age 47. They’d built their home soon after they were married while Sally was working at the lumber yard. Her father-in-law worked for the construction contractor and her husband was helping, especially during the roofing, whenever his railroad job allowed. Sally, of course, got to sweep up sawdust and other litter every day after work and, of course, made sure all was being done correctly. She says this novel was so much fun to write because it brought back a lot of what she’d learned in her job.
