To Solve the Unsolvable

Retired educator and minister examines the paradox of God

Doerun, Georgia – WEBWIRE

Why does God allow evil to exist and disasters to ravage the lives of humans whom he so dearly loves? This question often comes up when discussing God’s existence. Using his extensive studies and experience, Larry E. Ford tackles this subject in his book God: Accused or Defended?

In the book, Ford continues to examine what many theologians and philosophers have tried before, but he supplements his discussion with his decades’ worth of experience in the ministry. He challenges readers to question God’s truth, not to dissuade them from believing in Him, but to establish an acceptable rationale for a concept that is beyond reason.

“While the book doesn’t ultimately offer a clear solution to a problem Ford himself describes as ‘unsolvable’ . . . his tracings of the workings of God through the stories of the Bible make for some fascinating digressions, including a short but intense look at the actions of angels and demons in human history and a fantastic examination of the story of Adam and Eve,” says Kirkus Review.

Larry Ford has an interview on Preach the Word, where he talks about his latest book. You can view the interview on this link.
