People live in different cultures and have different views in life that might affect their judgment of others . . . judgments that may then influence their actions toward their peers. Carlos V. Cornejo illustrates in his book, Different Coins in the Fountain: Volume I of II, how these differences affect society’s way of thinking and becomes the basis of subsequent actions and decisions.

The book presents fictional stories in multiple settings with different characters placed in unusual situations. Situations that mirror the everyday life of people in various cultures and society, where they base their everyday decisions upon their cultural beliefs. Cornejo wants the readers to understand the driving force behind every human behavior that is influenced by the environment.

Penning stories from the wisdom he had gathered from almost a century of living in this world, Cornejo manages to leave every reader wanting more after each tale. Cornejo’s book is written for readers who are usually busy and have no time to read longer stories. “These short stories are easy to read while inspiring the brain. He has a way of telling a story that leaves you wanting more. I will suggest his books to all of my friends. I found the short stories fun to read. They are just the right length to finish when I have a few minutes,” says Michael Horta, Amazon reviewer.
